EduDreamers: “Explore Alternative Education” Booth at EdUHK

From February 10 to 13, 2025, Exco of EduDreamers, our student group under Teacher Leadership and Education Innovation (TLEI) Minor, organized a four-day booth which aimed at helping all students explore innovative approaches to education. The event featured opportunities to engage in DIY activities and discover various forms of alternative education. 

Additionally, the students invited three guests from RTC Gaia School, an only “Green School” in Hong Kong which promotes experiential learning, nature education, green and simple living; and cultivates culture of sharing, to host a Human Library. It allowed participants to gain insights into the educational environments and teaching philosophies associated with alternative education. 

EduDreamers is a platform envisioned by the Department of Education Policy and Leadership (EPL) to nurture pre-service teachers who want to be courageous teacher-leaders to realize their dreams for education. It is a network of support and allies for teaching and future leadership, expanding professional dialogue across levels of education.
